Who qualifies to be a member of trade motors?
Any person who holds a garage code. Or other similar verification of their trade status.
Why do I have to set up an account?
The reason why you must set up an account is to validate your trade status. This is a site for trade professionals only.
Will I have to set up an account for every auction?
No, once you have set up your account it will be valid on an ongoing basis. You use the same username and password every time you log in.
What is the difference between trade auctions and trade sales?
Our trade auctions have a set end time where in the case that an acceptable bid has been made, the highest bidder will win the lot. Our trade sales section is a listing of our vehicles for general sale and has no set end date.
When will trade motors contact me by email?
Each time you make a bid you will be notified by email. If you are outbid, we will let you know. Finally when the auction is over you will be notified if you have won or unfortunately lost. You can opt out of these emails by contacting an administrator.

How do I bid in the auction?
Simply enter a bid higher than the current bid in the bid box either on the auction listing page or on the lot details page.
How will I know if my bid has been bettered?
Trademotors.ie will send an email to you indicating you have been outbid.
How will I know if I won?
Trademotors.ie will notify you by email in the case that you have won and inform you on how you pay for and collect the vehicle.
Where do I collect my car or van after I have had my bid accepted?
Vehicles can be collected from the Old Airport Road. The deadline for vehicle collection is one week after the auction finishes. For full details please contact a TradeMotors.ie representative.
Do I automatically get the vehicle if I have the highest bid?
Not necessarily, a bid also has to meet our T&C’s to make it a valid bid. Once this occurs, the highest bidder wins the lot.
When do I have to make payment?
Payment should be made prior to the collection of the vehicle.
Do I give a deposit?
No deposit is necessary. Simply pay for the vehicle upon or prior to collection.
What happens if no one bids?
If no one bids, the vehicle remains unsold.

How do I purchase a trade vehicle?
Fill out the enquiry form under the car you would like, a representative will then contact you either by phone or by email.
When will I be contacted?
We aim to answer all enquiries within one working day.
